After all the talk about movies based on toys, movies based on other toys, and 3D re-releases that just shouldn't happen, it's comforting to know that at least someone still has their head about them.
As I first mentioned way back in September, Bad Boys 3 has been at least considered for quite a while. The problem, though, is getting all that talent (Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, Michael Bay, and Jerry Bruckheimer) together in the same room... much less getting them on the same movie set for a couple months.
Now, though, it looks like the third installment may be coming closer and closer to fruition. According to both MTV Movies Blog and ComingSoon.net, Bruckheimer is strongly behind the project, and Smith himself came up with the idea for the story.
Lawrence reportedly told MTV in April that the third movie is "real realistic". Then this past weekend on the press tour for Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Bruickheimer informed the world, "we've been working on a script, so we'll keep our fingers crossed... Will would love to do it, and I think Martin would too."
